Notice of Annual General Meeting 29 October 2008
Notice is hereby given that the 43rd Annual General Meeting of Queensland Teachers’ Credit Union Limited will be held at 454 St Paul’s Terrace, Fortitude Valley on Wednesday, 29 October 2008 at 5.30pm.
Business of the Meeting
- Confirming Minutes - To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 24 October 2007 and Special General Meeting on 28 May 2008;
- Receiving and Adopting Financial Documents - To receive the Financial Report, Directors’ Report and the Auditor’s Report for the year ending 30 June 2008;
- Receiving Declaration of Election Results - To receive the declaration of results from the Company Secretary for the election of directors;
- Determining Directors’ Remuneration - To determine the remuneration of directors for the financial year 2008/2009;
- Confirming appointment as a Director - To confirm the appointment of John Fisher-Stamp as a director to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Noel Ross.
A Member who is entitled to vote but unable to attend the meeting may appoint an adult person who need not be a Member as their proxy. A proxy form will be available from 6 October 2008 by phoning Jennifer on 07 3842 6021.
A Member who is entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting may request the Credit Union to send an individual notice of meeting. The Member can request notices of all general meetings (a standing request) or just a notice for particular meetings. If you wish to receive an individual notice please contact Jennifer on 07 3842 6021 to obtain the relevant form.
