Ms Derbyshire was elected to the Board in 1992. She is a former Secondary School Principal and her teaching background spans over 37 years throughout the State. Ms Derbyshire is currently a member of the Governance, Professional Development and Policy Planning Committees.  Currently a part-time sessional academic at the Queensland University of Technology International College.
