More than 20 volunteers, family and friends from Queensland Teachers’ Credit Union (QTCU) gave Queensland children’s hospice Zoe’s Place a much needed makeover last Saturday 17 May at the Inaugural QTCU/Zoe’s Place Working Bee.

QTCU General Manager Mike Murphy said the strong turnout of volunteers was indicative of the strong community spirit the partnership between QTCU and Zoe’s Place had fostered.

"We were thrilled to see so many of our employees and their families and friends turn out to support an organisation which has helped so many families across the country," Mr Murphy said.

Zoe’s Place is Queensland’s first and only children’s hospice centre, dedicated to providing a support network for families in Queensland with children suffering life threatening illnesses.

QTCU has been helping Queenslanders with their finances for more than 40 years, offering a range of services from savings accounts to home loans.
