Feel safe when you shop
Verified by VISA links a personal password and personal message to your VISA card. Once you’re registered, you will be shown your personal message and asked to enter your password every time you shop online with a participating Verified by VISA merchant.
The appearance of your personal message will confirm your transaction is being authenticated by your credit union. Entry of your password will confirm you really are the authorised cardholder.
Once your password is checked, your identity will be verified, the transaction will be completed as normal and you will have the peace of mind of knowing no-one but you can use your VISA card online.
It’s that safe. And that simple!
Naturally, you can also use your VISA card in the usual way at online stores that are yet to participate in the Verified by VISA program.

Verified by VISA will work with your current VISA card – it takes just a few minutes to register online. Here's what you’ll need;
- Your VISA card
- Your QTCU member number - Please note you must enter 10 digits, so please prefix your number with zeros, e.g. Member number 15748 becomes 0000015748
