Wayne McKenzie

My name is Wayne McKenzie and I have been the Cairns Manager since June 2007. My background is accounting related.  I am a member of the National Institute Of Accountants.  My experience includes eleven years overseas as a Financial Controller and a number of years as Chief Accountant of an  Australian LPG supplier.

I have resided in Cairns since 1999 and look forward to many more years ahead.

I have been visiting schools, doing presentations at staff meetings, outlining the benefits of membership with QTCU and reminding members that when they are looking for home or investment loans or pre approvals we, should be the first people to talk to. 

I like to remind existing and potential members that we do not have long queues when you visit our branch.  You can also walk in and talk to a consultant about an insurance quote, or a loan application, without an appointment, and we offer monthly fee rebates making free monthly banking possible.

Our branch will be twenty-five years old in mid 2008, and I look forward to reaching this milestone together.
