Cathy Newell

Hi, my name is Cathy Newell and I joined QTCU in June 2007 as Branch Manager at Capalaba PFC.

I have been working in the financial industry for the past 16 years and I pride myself on providing my customers with quality service and personalised banking solutions.

In the short time that I have been with the credit union I have managed to establish a strong rapport with the Capalaba customers as well as the  teachers within our local community.

My visits to the schools are generally based around the financial needs of the teachers however my colleagues and I are also there to educate and coach the students with lifestyle skills that will inspire them to develop healthy financial habits.

I’m thoroughly enjoying working at QTCU – the organisation truly cares and values its people and its customers.

We are committed to providing our customers with the ultimate banking experience whilst assisting them in achieving their personal financial goals.  I work with a fantastic team at Capalaba branch - we’re hardworking and passionate about what we do and we’re having a lot of fun doing it!
