Dion Richardson started his career in 1998 as a Specialist Recruitment Consultant in Sydney whilst concurrently undertaking his Bachelor of Commerce degree.  Specifically, his niche was the Asia-Pacific region Investment Banking market, as Consultant representing such firms as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.  Dion's focus then led to more representations and the distribution stream of the financial services industry, joining AMP in a Senior Sourcing Specialist role.

For lifestyle reasons, Dion relocated to Brisbane with his wife to join Suncorp in 2006 with similar focus on the firm's Investment Management and Wealth Distribution lines of business.  Having completed his Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), Dion was invited to undertake an accelerated development program to transition across to the role of Financial Planner.  Most recently, Dion joined the Queensland Teachers' Credit Union as a Financial Planner in September 2009 whilst finalising his Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).  Dion is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) and has his eyes set on additional study towards Certified Financial Planner (CFP) status.

Dion has worked with clients from all walks of life and across an array of financial situations as their trusted Financial Adviser, guiding them in the determination and achievement of their wealth creation and protection goals.  He has successfully provided invaluable advice in the areas of retirement planning, superannuation, investments and risk insurances.  Coming from a  family of teachers himself, he particularly enjoys educating and coaching his clients on their investment and wealth protection strategies, thereby building his clients' own financial knowledge and wellbeing.
